Fish stocking was held at Indian Lake Marina this morning. The ILA partnered with the DEC and Marina to relocate stocking closer to deeper waters where the fish thrive, resulting in improved numbers based on feedback from local anglers. 6,200 Lake Trout and 7,070 Brown Trout were released. Technicians ensure the hose doesn't touch lake water to prevent invasive species transfer; hatchery water is tested weekly and considered among the cleanest in the state. Thanks to Indian Lake Marina for making time for the stocking. Share photos of your summer catches with the ILA!
