Potomac Heights Cooperative Housing Potomac Heights Mutual Homeowners Association is a cooperative community established in 1949 located about 20 miles south of Washington, D.C.

in Indian Head, MD. Our community is situated on a bluff overlooking the Potomac River a convenient drive to the Indian Head Naval Support Facility, Waldorf, La Plata, and Washington, D.C.

The Board of Directors reviewed and determined that bringing on a lawn care company was beneficial to the cooperative. With staffing changes and the maintenance staff's work order requests, it made sense to hire a contractor than hire seasonal help. The company is Platinum Landscape & Design.
Please be patient as the new company learns the ins and outs of our complex neighborhood and landscaping.
The company is maintaining the common areas, not individual's yards.

Happy Wednesday!
Potomac Heights had a great turn out for the Annual Membership Meeting and for that each and every Member is thanked. We had 49 Members attend this Annual Meeting.
At this annual meeting we had three positions for the Board and 4 Members ran. The count is as follows:
Paula Posey- 42 Votes
Todd Coombs- 37 Votes
Jason Auth- 33 Votes
Roger Moody- 16 Votes

Congratulations to Paula Posey, Todd Coombs and Jason Auth for being elected for another term.

Regarding the By-law proposed change #1 Article III Membership, Section 7, paragraph 2 regarding assessing a late fee on a delinquent account. The count is as follows:
Yes- 34 Votes
No- 12 Votes
The by-law did pass.

As in previous years, this information will be included in the next promoter (January 2024).
