Join us for our next workshop, Hope and Healing for Reproductive Trauma, presented by Dr. Caitlin Overfelt, PhD, LPC. Dr. Overfelt brings a wealth of expertise as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Divisional Leader for Perinatal Mental Health and Wellness with the American Association of Christian Counselors, and Assistant Professor at Liberty University.

This workshop is designed for clinicians working with individuals and couples facing reproductive challenges such as infertility, miscarriage, perinatal complications, and birth trauma. Through a blend of didactic instruction and hands-on application exercises, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the reproductive trauma landscape and the diverse clinical presentations associated with it.

By the end of the training, participants will be equipped to assess and address the psychological, emotional, and relational impacts of reproductive trauma using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches. The course will highlight effective screening and assessment strategies, introduce interventions from modalities such as EMDR, narrative therapy, and emotionally focused therapy, and explore integrating spiritual and religious practices into care. Attendees will also examine key clinical concerns, including trauma symptoms, grief and recurrent loss, relational distress, and the role of clinician self-awareness and self-care. This workshop offers practical tools and meaningful insight for therapists seeking to deepen their competence and confidence in supporting clients through reproductive trauma.

THREE days left to register!

Register by October 10th. Please note: This is an afternoon workshop.

Presented by Kellie Garza, LMHC, CST, Q.S.

Kellie brings over 20 years of trauma-focused psychotherapy experience and advanced postgraduate training in dissociation and s*x therapy. This interactive three-hour workshop offers a clear, step-by-step protocol to identify and treat somatic symptoms, unconscious triggers, and trauma body memories. You’ll learn how to recognize and work compassionately with distinct ego-states or “parts,” translate body sensations into clinical interventions, and safely guide clients through unresolved somatic material. Kellie’s roles as a Certified S*x Therapist, Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, and Director of Education for Florida Mental Health Licensure Services ensure the training is practice-oriented and clinically relevant. The workshop emphasizes hands-on exercises, case examples, and skills you can use immediately in session. By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with concrete techniques to address trauma-related body memories and support clients’ nervous-system regulation. Space is limited, reserve your spot to deepen your somatic clinical toolkit and learn compassionate, effective ways to work with parts.
