Today may be the last day of Mental Health Awareness Month, but that doesn’t mean caring for your mental health stops here.

Rest, asking for help, setting boundaries, and checking in with yourself are important every day of the year. Your mental health deserves attention not just in May, but always.

Take care of your mind with the same compassion and consistency you give to the people around you. You are worthy of support, care, and hope.

Grief shows up differently for everyone. Some reactions may feel unexpected, overwhelming, or difficult to explain, while others may come and go without warning. You may experience a wide range of emotions, changes in routines, or moments where everyday tasks feel harder than usual.

There is no right or wrong way to grieve, and no timeline for how loss should affect someone. Every person’s experience is unique, and each response deserves patience and compassion. No matter where you are in your journey, give yourself permission to take things one day at a time.

Grief can show up in ways that are hard to put into words, and for many men, it’s something that’s often carried silently.

This group offers a space to step away from that silence and into a room where you don’t have to explain everything to be understood. It’s a place for honest conversation, quiet reflection, and meaningful connection with others who have experienced loss. Whether you feel ready to share or just need to listen, you’ll be met with respect, support, and a sense of community.

No matter what your mind may tell you in your hardest moments, you are loved, valued, and worthy of care.

Mental Health Awareness Month is a reminder that you do not have to carry everything alone. There is comfort in connection, courage in asking for support, and hope even on the days that feel overwhelming. Your story matters, your feelings matter, and your presence in this world matters.

Take time to care for yourself, check in on those around you, and remember, you are never alone.

Grief can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to walk through it alone.

This monthly gathering is for families who are coping with the loss of a loved one, creating a safe and supportive environment for both children and parents to process grief in ways that feel right for them. Through art, storytelling, games, and guided conversation, families are supported in expressing emotions that can be difficult to put into words.

Children and teens are placed in age-specific groups, while parents have a separate space for connection and support. Each family moves through their grief journey at their own pace, together but not alone.

Mental Health Monday!

Summer is almost here, bringing brighter days, fresh starts, and new routines. As schedules change and life speeds up, don’t forget to take care of yourself along the way.

Mental health matters in every season. Whether that means taking a walk outside, spending time with people who make you feel supported, setting boundaries, or simply allowing yourself time to rest, small moments of care can make a big difference.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, remember that it’s okay to ask for help, okay to slow down, and okay to put your well-being first. You deserve support, compassion, and care.

Art can be a powerful way to express emotions that are often difficult to put into words. In addition to our Art Therapy Workshops, our clinicians frequently incorporate creative art interventions into counseling sessions to help children, teens, and adults process grief in meaningful and personal ways.

During our recent Art Therapy Workshop, children explored their emotions through painting and hands-on creativity as they designed stepping stones that reflected their journeys, strength, and memories. Surrounded by support and understanding, each participant had the opportunity to create something uniquely their own while connecting through shared experiences of grief and remembrance.

We are thankful to everyone who joined us for this special evening of creativity, connection, and expression.

As you move through your journey, give yourself permission to feel, to rest, to ask for support, and to take things one day at a time. You are not alone, and your grief deserves compassion and care.
