We are officially one month away from the 25th annual Hop & Heritage Festival on September 26th! This is brought to us by the fine folks at the Independence Downtown Association (IDA.)

Here's a quick rundown to keep you in the loop on IDA's biggest event of the year!

A NOTE ABOUT THE PARKS ⛲️

We know the parks in Independence have closed, and they've been getting questions about whether this affects the festival. It does not. This year, everything is spread across downtown, not in the parks:

Live music: Main Street
Downtown Passport: inside local businesses
Heritage Marketplace: C Street
Fresh Hop Fiesta + Main Stage: Parallel 45 parking lot
September 26th is on, rain or shine.

TICKETS ARE LIVE 🎟️
VIP ($60): Limited to 100 total. Early admission at 11 AM, tasting glass, 6 tokens, festival t-shirt, canvas tote, tasting notebook. When they're gone, they're gone.
Passport + Tasting Package ($25): 21+ wristband, tasting glass, 6 tokens, Downtown Passport.
Free to wander: The festival is free for all ages. Tickets are only needed for beer tasting and the passport experience.
Plus: (Epic) raffle drawing at 5 PM at Parallel 45. Every passport turned back in with 10 stamps is entered. You do not have to be present to win.

Roar! The 15th Annual Central Lions Club Cruise-in Car Show and Pancake Breakfast is a roaring success! Pictures will soon follow - 195 cars! 250+ breakfasts served! Fantastic ly PERFECT weather!

Roar! It's always a great day to be a Lion, especially since TOMORROW, August 15th, is the Central Lions 15th Annual Cruise-In and Pancake Breakfast! We want to take a moment and give a heart-felt shoutout to our supporters, who sponsored trophies, donated prizes and helped defray the costs of our event. Every dollar of profit from our events go back out to our community and the organizations we support.
Gates open at 8:00 a.m. Car Show starts at 9:00 a.m., no charge to come see the cars, come vote on your favorites! Trophy ceremony at 2:30 p.m.
Breakfast is served from 8:00 - 10:30 am. Only $10!!
Raffle tickets will be drawn throughout the day, starting around 10am until 2:30p.m. There's also a 50/50 raffle - buy a winning ticket and split the pot! There's also a Silent Auction with many items waiting for you to bid and win!
Please take a moment to acknowledge these wonderful local businesses and people, and give them your support! Hope to see lots of folks tomorrow - come have breakfast, see the cars, buy some raffle tickets, bid on some awesome Silent Auction items, and go home happy!
