Boy Scout Troop 1865 We meet Monday nights 7 pm at St Marks Catholic Church.

Scout Troop 865, a youth male and female scout lead Troop that meets 7pm on Monday nights at St Marks Catholic Church, 3736 S Lees Summit Rd, Independence, MO 64055
We are an active Troop with regular monthly outings year round We are a strong Scout led Troop that camps year round including 9 continuous days each summer at the H Roe Bartle Scout Reservation in the Missouri Ozarks.

This Memorial Day, Scouts are invited to help make history at the National WWI Museum and Memorial.

On the occasion of the Museum and Memorial's Centennial year, we are looking for Scouts and leaders to lay 441 wreaths at the 2026 Memorial Day ceremony on Monday, May 25 – one for each of the 441 Kansas City residents who died serving our country in the Great War. All Scouting organizations (all affiliations and ages) are invited to participate in this important civic occasion.
