Camp day 1 is complete! We have had a great day getting settled in at camp, playing minute to win it games, dancing, and watching the first night campfire! 🍀

Virginia 4-H Congress has come to an end!

Our delegates spent day 3 attending a workshop focused on 4-H in the Dominican Republic! They were even able to make friendship bracelets to send back to an all girls orphanage in the Dominican Republic! They also attended a 4-H opportunity fair, Clover Fest, and the dance!

On day 4, we said goodbye to Virginia Tech’s campus after watching the Virginia 4-H Cabinet Installation, awards ceremony, and a great speech by Margaret Ann Smith!

We’re so proud of Carly and Autrey for representing Grayson County at Virginia 4-H Congress!

Our Grayson County delegates have had a great day 2 at Virginia 4-H Congress! This morning, Carly and Autrey learned all about sensory science and how it relates to food, as well as staying cool, calm, and collected!🍀

This afternoon, they competed in the Virginia 4-H State Presentation Competition! Both of these girls worked super hard on getting their presentations ready and did and AMAZING job presenting!

Carly presented on sun safety and preventing sunburn. She won a blue ribbon! 🏅

Autrey presented on healthy hair, and she also won a blue ribbon! 🏅

This evening, they also participated in a color run!
