We’re delighted to see our work featured in the Rotary District 9210 August 2026 Newsletter! 🌍✨

The article highlights the impact of the Rotary Foundation Global Grant supporting fistula survivors in Lilongwe, Malawi, to rebuild their lives through sustainable livelihoods.

Beyond successful fistula treatment, recovery is also about restoring dignity, independence and economic opportunity. Through tailoring and entrepreneurship training, women are gaining practical skills to generate income, support their families and move forward with confidence.

Importantly, the impact is reaching beyond the women themselves. Reusable sanitary pads produced by the beneficiaries are purchased by our club and distributed to schoolgirls in rural Lilongwe, helping reduce barriers to school attendance, and creating a reliable market for the women’s products.

It is wonderful to see the stories and achievements of these women being shared across District 9210.
