As of Monday August 29th
Cindy Merchant resigned from the position of Auxiliary President. Kathy Shepard as Sr. Vice has now moved into that position.
Jennifer Collier also resigned both of her positions at that time, as Jr. Vice & 2 yr. Trustee. Both of those positions will be open for election.

THE VFW AUXILIARY meeting for July is tomorrow Thursday, July 21, 2021. There are 12 Committees - we will be trying to update members each month with items we hope to be of interest to our members. If you have questions or comments feel free to interact. REMEMBER it is YOUR Post 1186 Auxiliary!

Kathy S. Is the chair person for the following Committees. LEGISLATIVE: Nothing to report for this month (July 2022).
SCHOLARSHIP: Patriot's Pen for 6-8 grade theme is "My pledge to our Veterans " and
VOICE OF DEMOCRACY: Why Is The Veteran Important?" for grades 9-12.

CINDY M. is the chair person for MEMBERSHIP: In June we had 1 member transfer into our Auxiliary. We would love to welcome La Veta Miller Darbo! ❤

Now we can celebrate your hard work, because YOU DID IT!! You helped the Department of Kansas reach our final goal of 100%+ (with deaths).
You are the BEST!!"

When we first started this final push on membership a couple weeks ago - we still needed well over 100 members to achieve 100%+ (with paid deaths).

Because of your hard work, dedication and commitment to our Organization and your willingness to go "Above and Beyond" I am happy to announce that TODAY, WE HAVE ACHIEVED THAT GOAL!"

Thank you to everyone who stepped up to help make it happen! What a wonderful ending to a great year!
