Over the weekend we were able to spend an evening celebrating the men and women who dedicated years of service to the Independence Fire Department and our community.

Thank you to all of our retirees for the years of hard work, sacrifice, and commitment. It was an honor to gather together, share some memories, and celebrate everything you’ve given to the fire service. We wish you all a happy retirement!

A big thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s Retiree Dinner a great night! ❤️‍🔥

It’s that time of year! Our 15th Annual Good & Welfare Charity Golf Tournament is here and open! This is our main source of fundraising for giving back to our community. Funds raised will go towards our “Stop, Drop and Shop with a Firefighter” event as well as scholarships for high school seniors who are looking to go into Fire or EMS careers. Please join us for a day of fun and memories as we continue giving back to the community.
