Today, it is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our beloved friend, Marilyn Morton.

Marilyn dedicated her career to serving our community with kindness, compassion, and unwavering commitment. She was more than a colleague - she was a friend, a mentor, and an inspiration to so many of us.

Our community will never be the same without her. Her legacy of service and the lives she touched will never be forgotten.

Please keep Marilyn’s family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

You will be deeply missed, Marilyn. Thank you for everything you gave to our community. No one will ever truly be able to fill your shoes.

We had a fantastic time today at the annual Last Day of School Celebration presented by the Independence Downtown Association! We were too busy having fun to snap lots of photos, but we did catch this moment when Spider-Man said hello! Thanks to everyone who stopped to play a game, win a prize, and learn about our unique mission of celebrating birthdays. What a great afternoon! 💜
