Independence Area Food Pantry -IOWA We provide food security to Buchanan County, IOWA residents with 5-day emergency supply of food. We are temporarily writing referrals in house to limit contact.

Please call us for an appointment and we will write you a referral at the time of your appointment. Thank you! In accordance with Federal civil rights law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, the USDA, its Agencies, offices, and employees, and institutions participating in or administering USDA programs are prohibited from discriminating based on race,

Persons with disabilities who require alternative means of communication for program information (e.g. Braille, large print, audiotape, American Sign Language, etc.), should contact the Agency (State or local) where they applied for benefits. Last week, we were proud to once again purchase a hog at the local 4-H/FFA Hog Auction in support of the hardworking youth in our community.

To give back even further, we raffled off $5 tickets to our employees for a chance to win half a hog and processing, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Independence Area Food Pantry -IOWA.

This week, we were honored to present the Independence Food Pantry with an $800 donation! We are grateful for the opportunity to support such an important organization and the families they serve.

A special thank you to our employees for their generosity and to the Gallup family for providing outstanding, high-quality pork. Together, we're making a difference in our community!
