Independence Area Food Pantry -IOWA We provide food security to Buchanan County, IOWA residents with 5-day emergency supply of food. We are temporarily writing referrals in house to limit contact.

Please call us for an appointment and we will write you a referral at the time of your appointment. Thank you! Help Wanted


The Independence Area Food Pantry is hiring a part-time support position.
15-20 hours per week.
Applicant must have a valid driver’s license. Responsibilities will include:
maintaining accurate inventory records
unloading and recording donations and orders
lifting 50 pounds as well as walking up and down stairs carrying up to 30 pounds
working in a freezer for short periods of time
