Happy Forging Day 2026! 🔥

Today, the Forging Industry Association (FIA) and the Forging Foundation (FIERF) celebrate the people, skills and innovation that shape our industry—and the next generation who will carry it forward.

From a student’s first plant tour to the excitement of shaping metal by hand, hands-on experiences help young people see what’s possible in forging. They connect classroom learning with real careers and introduce the talented people whose work supports aerospace, defense, transportation, energy and more.

Thank you to the forging companies, employees, educators and volunteers who open their doors, share their knowledge and inspire future engineers, technicians and industry leaders. Every demonstration, conversation and tour can spark an interest that lasts a lifetime.

Bring forging to life for kids with a hands-on activity that introduces students and visitors to how forging works.

Each kit includes:
• A die set
• Play-Doh
• Instruction card
• QR codes linking to kit demonstrations, videos about forging and behind-the-scenes footage showing how the die sets were made

FIA members can request kits to be mailed to them by contacting [email protected].
