There has been a recall petition issued against the City of Independence Councilman John Perkins from the 1st District. The men and women of IAFF L-781 support Councilman Perkins as we support those that support us!

Councilman Perkins has been a stead fast advocate for firefighter safety and growth as well as making substantial improvements to the 1st District within the City. He has listened with intent and respected the voice of the citizens along with reducing blight within the City.

It’s that time of year! Our 15th Annual Good & Welfare Charity Golf Tournament is here and open! This is our main source of fundraising for giving back to our community. Funds raised will go towards our “Stop, Drop and Shop with a Firefighter” event as well as scholarships for high school seniors who are looking to go into Fire or EMS careers. Please join us for a day of fun and memories as we continue giving back to the community.
