We're getting ready to begin Phase 1 of our Liberty Playground Development Project! Join us this Tuesday, March 27th at 6:30pm in the Red Oak Room of the Civic Center for a public meeting with the Recreation Department staff, we'll discuss the latest details of the project and would love any and all input. If you're unable to make the meeting, shoot an email to one of the addresses in the graphic here and we'll add you to our playground email list for continual updates. Hope to see you all Tuesday evening!

There is a meeting TONIGHT at 7PM at the Civic Center to discuss the center of town plans. If you've been curious as to what progress has been made in the decision making process, tonight is the night to go and find out!

No word from the city on whether or not they will be live-streaming the meeting for residents who cannot attend.

The next public meeting for the downtown greenspace and streetscape project is on Feb. 28 at the Civic Center from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. For more information, please call Independence City Hall.
