❤️ **Meet Manuel!** ❤️

We would like you to meet **Manuel**, one of the newest children to join the Youth Home in Malawi.

Manuel is not an orphan, but he is a child who was in desperate need of help. His mother abandoned him when he was only four years old, and his father struggles with alcoholism. As a result, Manuel was often left without enough food or even the basic necessities of life.

When we met Manuel on our recent trip, he already understood something that many adults never learn: **he needed to do something to change the direction of his life.**

Manuel and his father walked **miles** to come to the Youth Home. Manuel asked his father to release him into our care so that he could have a chance at a better future.

And we were so happy to welcome him. ❤️

Today, Manuel is enrolled in school with the other primary-aged children. He has a **new school uniform, his own bed, regular meals, and a safe place to call home.**

But more than that, Manuel now has something incredibly important—**hope.**

He has the opportunity to learn, grow, be cared for, and begin building a future that once seemed impossible.

This is why **Give Back Hope International** exists. We don't simply want to provide food and shelter. We want to give vulnerable children the opportunity to become educated, learn skills, discover their worth, and have a future.

**Manuel's story is just beginning.** And we are so grateful that we get to be part of it. ❤️🇲🇼

Hi friends! ❤️

I wanted to let you know that I’ll soon be traveling to Malawi to visit the kids at the Youth Home. (And my have the children grown since this pictured!)
We have a very packed itinerary, and I’ll be sharing each day’s happenings on our page, Give Back Hope Intl., so you can follow along with us!

One of our biggest priorities on this trip will be finding a **new location for the Youth Home**, as our current lease ends in December. We need all the prayers we can get as we seek the right place and make decisions about the future of the home. 🙏

One of the fun things I’m able to do is bring small gifts from the U.S. that I can fit into my suitcase. One item that is **greatly needed and can be a wonderful blessing is reading glasses—ALL strengths!** If you have extra pairs sitting around that you no longer need, we would love to put them to good use in Malawi.

We are also collecting donations for items that are too large or difficult to fit in my suitcase but that I can purchase once I arrive. Some of our current needs include:

• Toys for the Youth Home
• A new printer for the office
• A projector for the Youth Pastor and teacher to use for lessons
• New aprons, rain ponchos, and umbrellas for the caretakers
• Umbrellas and solar-powered flashlights for the guards
• Watches for the guards
• And several other practical items that will help the Youth Home

If you would like to donate toward a **specific item**, I’ll take pictures of the purchases in Malawi and share them on Facebook so you can see how your gift was used. ❤️

🎓 Celebrating a Milestone of Achievement! 🎉

We are incredibly proud to announce the graduation of five remarkable young people from vocational school!

Congratulations to:
✨ Mercy Frazier
✨ Kingsley Umali
✨ Kelvin Davison
✨ Lunesi Chikhasu
✨ Clement Kambeta

The young men completed their training in Welding, while the young women earned their certifications in Tailoring. Each graduate proudly received a certificate recognizing their hard work, dedication, and accomplishment.

The graduates celebrated this special day alongside the staff and children of the Youth Home—a joyful reminder that perseverance, determination, and opportunity can change lives.

These young adults have worked diligently to develop valuable skills that will help them build independent and successful futures. Their achievements are an inspiration to the younger children at the home, demonstrating that with faith, persistence, and support, dreams can become reality.

Please join us in congratulating these outstanding graduates as they begin this exciting new chapter. We pray that God will continue to guide their paths and bless the work of their hands.

We want to give a huge shout-out to our dedicated nursing student, Grayam Daula! 👏

Grayam is currently in his second year of nursing school and has just begun his clinical rotations. He is spending the next month at the Zomba Malawi Mental Clinic, gaining valuable hands-on experience before returning to continue his studies in home health and occupational health.

We are incredibly proud of his commitment and passion for helping others. 💙

If you would like to support Grayam during this important time, donations will help cover his school fees, books, supplies, and housing while he completes his clinicals. His total expenses for this semester are approximately $576 USD.
