Grandparents everywhere are celebrating the most wonderful time of year: BACK TO SCHOOL!
No more being asked for snacks every 14 minutes. No more stepping on LEGOS. No more hearing “Grandma, watch this!” 47 times before lunch.
But… after a few days, we know the truth. You’ll miss those little stinkers.
So if you find yourself wandering around the house wondering where all the noise went, why not become a Reading Buddy?
You can head to school, sit down with a good book, and read to some kids who could use a little extra encouragement.
Everybody wins: The kids get a reading buddy, the school gets a volunteer, and Grandma and Grandpa get to say, “Once upon a time…” again.
Grandkids back to school? Celebrate.
