LEARNING BEYOND THE (WATER POLO) GOAL LINE....
With 100% full financial support from the Incline Education Fund, Incline Middle School is in it's second year of SWIM LESSONS during the IMS Exploratory period. Perched on the edge of Lake Tahoe, water safety is of paramount importance for all Incline students.
Many thanks to our partners at IVGID (double-checking to make sure that IVGID joint-use agreement is followed correctly) for their partnership in making this life-saving skill a reality.

INCLINE FAMILIES:
This Saturday morning October 14, there will be a solar eclipse that will be visible here in Nevada. IV Library cardholders can stop by the Incline Village to pick up a FREE pair of eclipse glasses (while supplies last, limit 2 per family). Available now!
Don't have a library card? Enroll when you stop by for your eclipse glasses--there is a world at your fingertips at your local public library.

INCLINE FAMILIES: Check out the "Discover And Go" pass at the Incline Village Library--a great (Inexpensive or FREE) way to visit some local attractions during Fall Break (or any other time).
Discover & Go is a program provided by your library that offers free and low-cost passes for museums, science centers, zoos, theatres, and other cultural destinations.
Attractions include:
Nevada Museum of Art
The Discovery (Terry Lee Wells Nevada Discovery Museum)
Fleischmann Planetarium
National Automobile Museum (The Harrah Collection)
Northern California attractions include the DeYoung Museum, the Legion of Honor Museum, the Bay Area Discovery Museum, and the Crocker Art Museum.

Don't Miss the last DJ Yoga session of the season: Thursday, September 28
Registration is 5:00-5:30 with yoga from 5:30-6:30 the DJ will be 80’s themed for this final event. Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino is hosting a lakeside yoga event to benefit Incline Elementary School’s “Step up for Stem” program. The class will be led by local yoga instructor Alex Farrar, Lead Education Instructor at YogaSix Reno Northwest, and films on-demand yoga classes as an XPRO on Xponential+ and a guest trainer at Lululemon Studio. It will also feature uplifting beats and positive mantras with a live DJ set by Julie Orblych, aka DJ JOOLZ.
