Honoring a Legacy of Kindness ✨
Today, we remember and celebrate the extraordinary generosity of Mr. A, a beloved friend of Rend Lake College and our students. Through his humble and selfless giving, Mr. A provided scholarships that opened doors to education for hundreds of RLC students.
For many years, RLCF designated a day in September to celebrated “Mr. A Day” on campus. Mr. A would come to RLC to visit to meet the students he supported, take photos with them, and share in the joy of their achievements. Those moments reflected the heart of a man who never sought recognition, yet left an impact that can never be forgotten.
Though Mr. A passed away a few years ago, his spirit of generosity lives on. His kindness is forever remembered, not only in the lives of the students he touched but also in this beautiful bronze sculpture in Benton, dedicated to his legacy.
Thank you, Mr. A. You will always be part of the RLC story.
