Your voice matters! 💙

Parents and caregivers of children currently enrolled or on our waitlist are invited to complete a brief 15–20 minute survey about work, childcare and family life.

We’re partnering with Florida Gulf Coast University researchers to better understand how early learning programs impact working families. Your input can help shape stronger programs and opportunities for families in our community.

Available in English, Spanish and Creole, online or in person. Participation is confidential, voluntary and will not affect your child’s enrollment or waitlist status.

Take the survey today: https://ow.ly/2CvN50ZG8si!

We need your voice — and so does the next family on our waitlist.

✈️ Preparing for takeoff—both in the air and in their educational journey!

This summer, Tutor Corps students visited Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) to gain the confidence and skills they'll need as they take the next step toward college. For many of our students, leaving for college also means taking their first solo flight—a milestone that represents independence, opportunity, and the pursuit of higher education.

As students prepare to attend colleges and universities across the country, they learned how to navigate the airport, check in for a flight, pack efficiently, make their way through security, locate their gate, and respond to travel changes with confidence.

Preparing students for college means more than academic success, it means equipping them with the real-world skills and confidence they need to thrive every step of the way. We can't wait to see where their education takes them next. 🎓✈️

“Our students come home more confident… and see themselves pursuing opportunities outside of what they may have imagined before.”

College experiences can change what students see as possible. 🎓 Through our partnership with Saint Mary's College, Notre Dame, IN our students experience pre-college summer programs that build confidence and help them envision themselves pursuing opportunities they may not have imagined before.

More back-to-school advice from someone who knows a thing or two about education. 📚

Today, we hear from Bob Spano, our Vice President of Programs, who has dedicated his career to education investing 35 years with Collier County Public School District before joining Guadalupe Center.

As part of our school advice series, Bob is sharing his advice for students and parents as they start a new school year.

Did you know? More than 1 million new neural connections form every second during the first few years of life!

Every story read, every song sung, every question answered, and every moment of play helps build the foundation for future learning.

High-quality early childhood education gives children the skills and confidence they need to succeed—not just in kindergarten, but for years to come. 🌟

A college education is about more than earning a degree—it's about building connections that help students succeed. 🎓💙💚 Our recent graduates who will be attending Florida Gulf Coast University recently visited campus as guests of the university's TRIO Program where they learned about the resources and support available to them before classes begin.

We're grateful to our partners at FGCU for investing in our students, and we're confident these future Eagles have the support they need to thrive.

🎓 Partner School Spotlight: Arcadia University

We had the pleasure of bringing together our current Arcadia University students for a special lunch with Arcadia alumna, Rosemary Blankley.

As one of Guadalupe Center's very first partner schools, Arcadia University has helped open doors for generations of students. Thanks to the incredible generosity of the Blankley family, two Tutor Corps students receive full scholarships to Arcadia each year.

Today, we're proud to celebrate 26 Arcadia University graduates and 7 students currently pursuing their degrees. Thank you, Arcadia University and the Blankley family, for helping make endless possibilities a reality. 💙
