🎉 Come say hi to us at Willamette Grange Hall for Puppy Fest! 🐾

We’ll be hanging out with foster dog, Mike, (who will be available for adoption SOON!) chatting all things fostering, volunteering, and cattle dogs!

This is a free, family friendly event! Well behaved furry friends are welcome as long as they’re on a leash!

We’ll be at E9 Brewing Co. on Thursday, August 27th from 6 - 8 PM!❤️

Come say hi, grab a drink, meet some adorable pups, and chat with us about all things:
🐶 Fostering a rescue dog

🤠 And, obviously, cattle dogs - because we could talk about them all night.

POV: you find out you’re getting adopted tomorrow so suddenly your foster mom thinks you need a full spa day ✨

A bath? Fine.
A MOHAWK? Absolutely not.
Nails? Only under the influence of peanut butter.
Stealing your foster sister’s bed AND squeaky frog one last time? Non-negotiable.

After all, a guy has to look his best when he meets his FOREVER FAMILY. 🥹😭❤️

That’s right, Murphy has been ADOPTED!!! 🎉

This goofy, sweet, slightly less hairy gentleman is headed off to start his next chapter. But first, he had some very important foster brother duties to finish up... mainly terrorizing his foster sister one last time. 😂

We’re going to miss this big personality SO much, but we could not be happier for him. 🥹

And please keep Murphy’s foster family in your thoughts during this difficult time, as they recover from the mohawk slander and the theft of one squeaky frog. 🐸

📣 Calling all numbers people who also happen to be dog people! 🐾

PNWCDR is looking for remote Finance & Bookkeeping volunteers to join our team and help keep the behind-the-scenes side of rescue running smoothly!

We’re looking for someone with nonprofit accounting experience who can lend us just 1–2 hours per month. You’ll help with things like our annual 990, financial reporting/infographics, and other projects that help us stay organized, transparent, and focused on what matters most, helping dogs. 💚

The best part? This role is fully remote, so you can help save dogs from your couch, kitchen table, home office... or wherever your four-legged coworkers allow you to get things done. 😉🐶💻
