JUST ANNOUNCED! The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) announced changes to deer hunting regulations after reviewing more than 1,000 public comments on the proposed rule changes.
The Earn-a-2nd-Buck system is designed to encourage the harvest of antlerless deer to help manage the state's deer population.

Congratulations to all the athletes that recently participated in the New York State High School Clay Target League's tournament in Syracuse.
Many NYSCC member organizations support and host youth shooting sports teams, including the Sullivan County Conservation Club with the Monticello High School Trap Team. Focusing on safety, fun, and marksmanship, these clubs and teams help inspire our next generation of conservationists.

Monticello Trap Team wraps up another successful season!

The Monticello High School Trap Team wrapped up their Spring Season at the state tournament on June 6th in Syracuse. While they didn’t bring home any medals this year, they braved rain and wind to put up some very good scoring across all levels of play among the several hundred participants there that day.
