Alzheimer’s causes changes in memory, thinking
and behavior that are not a normal part of aging. With early detection, you can explore treatments that may provide some relief of symptoms and help you or your loved one maintain a level of independence longer.

The Caregiver Program at Catholic Charities of Herkimer County will be hosting two informational trainings in October in coordination with the Alzheimer's Association. These will both be open to the public and FREE.

Many of the Catholic Charities programs our volunteers serve at rely on the community for donations. Please give if you can and help us to serve those who are in need.

Help Us Support Our Community Through Mohawk Valley Gives

This year, we’re raising support for our basic needs programs in Herkimer County, including:

🥫 Food Pantry – Helping families keep food on the table.
🔥 Emergency Assistance – Helping with urgent needs like heat and utilities.
🏠 Housing Programs – Helping individuals and families find and maintain safe, stable housing.

For many of our neighbors, these programs are essential — providing food, warmth, and a safe place to live during difficult times.
