greater Ilion community. History: The Ilion Free Public Library Foundation, Ltd. was established in 2012 to enhance and strengthen the services of the Ilion Free Public Library. The Foundation is compromised of up to 15 volunteers from the community. The main focus of the Foundation is to raise money for the benefit of the residents of our community. While most money will be sought through grants, donations and bequests in honor of / in memory of individuals are also accepted and greatly appreciated.

100% of all money raised will benefit the residents of the Ilion community. All monies are under the total control of the Foundation Board and maintained separately from any public funds. The Foundation is fully recognized by the IRS as a 501c(3) not-for-profit organization independent from the library.
