Today, a su***de bomber targeted a church in Damascus during Sunday worship. Women, children, and innocent believers gathered in peace were torn apart in a horrific act of violence.

The latest numbers we are receiving:

They began dragging our neighbors—fathers and sons—into the streets. The children!! we could hear the . We shut off every light. We didn’t breathe. I remember pressing my hand over my mouth to keep from sobbing. The screams… the screams will never leave me.

But somehow, they bypassed our house.

Later, one of our team whispered, ‘It was the blood of Christ that covered us.’

We survived. We lived. And now we speak—for those who no longer can.

We are not just responding to a crisis—we are standing between life and death.”

Ongoing Conflict Affecting Minority Communities in Syria

We are closely monitoring the situation in southern Syria through our team and trusted partners in the region. Violence is escalating in areas home to long-standing Druze and Christian communities, placing many families at serious risk of harm and displacement.

Civilians are facing mounting threats, and local efforts to maintain safety and stability are becoming increasingly difficult under pressure.

At Greater Change International, we remain committed to standing with vulnerable populations. Our team is assessing needs on the ground and preparing to respond where help is most needed.

In the past two days, Abu Mohammad al-Julani’s fighters have unleashed a wave of terror against civilians in Syria’s coastal cities. Reports from Alawite community sources indicate hundreds of casualties, with Christians also among the victims.

Riding motorcycles, gunmen are executing civilians on sight, ensuring no one survives. The true death toll is likely even higher.

*“The front step of the house drainage system is filled with the stain of the blood of innocent. They’ve gone door-to-door, house-to-house, robbing, killing. If they don’t like the house, they set the house on fire. My nephews, my cousins, my relatives, all massacred.

There is no water, no electricity. It’s completely shut off. We are drinking water out of little bottles.
