Friendsgiving 2025 in Joshua Tree was one to remember - campout consisted of 3 nights in beautiful Joshua Tree National Park. After a long hike and a scramble up a boulder the view of the desert is even more phenomenal. Additionally, the stars at night, the sunsets, and the sunrises are breathtaking.

We survived! Zombie Preparedness Camp at Camp Emerson taught us lots of skills for a zombie apocalypse like water filtration, starting a fire, sewing, and moving and hiding without being detected. They also got to throw axes and shoot on the range. As an extra added treat, they also got to have an MRE for lunch. Our troop also had a lot of fun fortifying our campsite against zombie invaders. They all want to go back next year as staff so that they can be zombies.

Troop 700 participated in the Vista Community Clean-up today collecting over 10 lbs of trash.

Our current SPL, Zoe Blue, gathered her family, troop and friends to help work on her Eagle project - a Buddy Bench (and table) - which will be placed on the new VIDA middle school campus in the upcoming 2025/2026 school year.
