🐾 Happy National Dog Day!

If you’ve been around Idalou Methodist for any length of time, there’s a good chance you’ve met Walter.

Walter belongs to one of our church members, but somewhere along the way, he became the town dog. He especially loves his role as our unofficial church greeter.

We’re thankful for Walter and the joy he brings to our church family and our community!

Join our team!

We are seeking caring and dependable individuals to serve as nursery workers for our growing church family. This position includes Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings, hours ranging from 2-6 hours per week depending upon availablity.

Nursery workers provide a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment for our youngest children while parents and guardians participate in worship and discipleship opportunities.

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and have a heart for serving children and families.

We’re excited to be building a Pre-K Ministry at Idalou Methodist Church!

Our hope is to create a place where our youngest children can learn, grow, have fun, and begin discovering the love of Jesus from an early age.
