FYI, When to plant flowers :)

FYI, When to plant flowers :)

When should you plant flowers? The short answer is this:

🌱Start seeds indoors weeks before your last frost date
🌻Transplant hardy flowers before or at last frost
🌸Plant tender annuals after frost danger passes
🌷Plant spring bulbs in fall, summer bulbs in spring

However. . .

Different plants need differing amounts of lead time before they are ready to be transplanted into the garden. Starting too soon can result in a weak, lanky plant, while starting too late can give you one that is just not ready for the outside world—both will struggle to survive!

Whichever flowers you're wondering about, wonder no more! Find our guide at Almanac.com/when-plant-flowers
