Festival Update:

Great weather forecast for the Clear Creek Watershed Festival!

The Festival is going to be held as planned on Saturday September 21, 2013 from 10 AM until 3 PM in Courtney-Riley-Cooper Park, Idaho Springs. The park, which is alongside Clear Creek was unscathed during the recent torrential rains, which caused so much damage and loss in adjacent watersheds. The weather is predicted to be sunny, warm and in the 70's on Saturday.

See you there.

Across the state rivers are flowing above peak levels. Here is a great map showing flows around the state.

Hope everyone is alright now that the skies have cleared some. Rescue efforts have gotten off the ground, and the National Guard has been working hard. Our hearts go out to all communities and individuals effected by the flooding.

Sever flooding in the state has lead to evacuations, school closures, and now at least one death. Remember to move to higher ground, never drive through puddles you are unsure of the depth of, and keep your wits about you.
