Ministry Goals of Angel-Bebe’ Gowns

Angel –Bebe’ Gowns of Idaho by Bonny Tew exists purely as a compassionate service in order to provide infant bereavement clothing for babies of any gestational , stillborn or live birth age who have died. The primary goal of this group is to seek to lend loving-kindness, dignity, and comfort to the tiniest of all Angel Babies and their grieving families. • The donation of white wedding gowns from brides and/or their family members as well as anyone who wishes to do so are the basis from which the Angel Gowns are created. • Softly colored flower-girl, maids, and formal gowns that will provide linings and accents for the Angel Gowns. • Soft flannels and fabrics are also used to line the wraps, cocoons, and bunting for the babies who are too small to fit into gowns. This group is fortunate to have access to a free community room in the Idaho Falls location to use for all aspects of the Angel Gowns preparation, sewing, and packaging. Volunteers are very much welcomed to assist with various parts of the Angel Gowns work. • Assistance- In taking gowns apart, as well as sorting and packaging each section for further work. • Assistance- in laying gowns out and cutting them up and sorting them by size and gender • Assistance- In the actual sewing of the garments and packaging them by approximate size and gender. • Assistance-In carefully packaging the Angel Gowns in their white boxes with tissue and their shipping boxes if needed. • Assistance-in providing transport to shipping locations and/or actual placement locations. Donations of all minds are necessary to bring the Angel Gowns goals to fruition. ALL donations will be utilized solely to bring to pass the totality of the Angel - Gowns cause. Following is a list of basic needs (however it is not limited to only these.) • Gift Cards -for Joanns Fabric, and Online Sewing Supply Businesses • Checks and Money Orders • Cash Materials in kind are accepted- ( Check your craft/sewing stashes you may find treasures to share.) Sewing Supplies VERY NECESSARY Needs: • Sewing Machines Needles- Bernina Brand Specialty and Assorted Pack • Thread Cones-Toldi- Lock (Gutterman Brand) –White, Ivory or Cream • Pins for pinning fabric • Scissors and Rotary Blades for Cutters • Ribbon Reels-Narrow- White, Cream, Soft Colors • Cutting Mats • Flannel and Soft Fabrics for Lining Gowns, Cocoons, Pockets, and Wraps • Ribbon Rosettes • Tiny and miniature Buttons and Trims (From your craft and doll clothing stashes.) Our first goal is to serve the citizens of Idaho and her bordering states.

Due to the nature of this kind of work, networking for disaster relief may require that gowns be shipped to that area, wherever it may be.
