Progress is happening! 🎉

Today was a big day for our FAST Bucket initiative as we picked up the first round of buckets that will eventually be placed in classrooms throughout Bonneville School District 93.

A huge thank you to Brooklyn for helping coordinate this and to Sam’s Club for helping make it possible. Community partnerships like these are helping move this project from an idea to reality.

While there is still a lot of work ahead, we are committed to continuing this effort throughout the summer as we gather supplies, assemble buckets, and work toward getting them into classrooms.

We are incredibly grateful for the support we’ve received from our PTOs, schools, volunteers, donors, and community members. Every step forward is because of people who believe in helping keep our students and staff prepared.

Stay tuned—there is much more to come, and we’re excited to keep sharing our progress along the way!

❤️ Lost to Loved ❤️

Volunteers from the Bonneville Education Foundation collected unclaimed lost and found items from schools across District 93. Thanks to the support of our amazing school secretaries, custodians, administrators, transportation staff, and volunteers, we were able to gather bags and bags of coats, jackets and sweatshirts that might otherwise have gone unused.

Now the work begins!

Throughout the summer, our volunteers will sort, wash, organize, and prepare these items so they are ready for our Lost to Loved program next winter.

Every year, this program helps ensure that students in our community have access to warm coats when they need it most. What was once lost becomes loved again by a child who can put it to good use.

We are incredibly grateful to every school that participated, every staff member who helped collect items, and every volunteer who gives their time to make this program possible.

Together, we are turning lost into loved and helping care for students across District 93. ❤️

📚❤️ Grant Impact in Action! ❤️📚

One of our favorite parts of supporting our schools is seeing the difference these grants make for students.

Recently, Bonneville Online Elementary School used their Bonneville Education Foundation Teacher Grant to purchase books requested by students and replace many well-loved library books that had become damaged beyond repair.

Because of this grant funding, they were able to add or replace an incredible 78 books for their library!

From student-requested favorites to replacing cherished titles that were worn from years of use, these books will continue to inspire young readers for years to come.

A huge thank you to the staff at Bonneville Online Elementary School for sharing this wonderful update with us. We love seeing our grants in action and celebrating the impact they have on classrooms, libraries, teachers, and students throughout District 93.

Together, we are helping create opportunities for students to learn, grow, and fall in love with reading. 📖✨

As we wrap up another school year, we just want to say THANK YOU.

This was the Bonneville Education Foundation’s first full school year with me serving as director, and I honestly could not be more grateful for the incredible support we have received from our schools, PTOs, staff, administrators, families, community partners, sponsors, donors, and volunteers throughout this year.

Together, we have celebrated teachers, supported students, funded classroom projects, partnered on safety initiatives, helped create memorable experiences for kids, and continued building connections throughout District 93. None of it would be possible without this amazing community standing behind our schools.

Thank you for believing in the mission of the Bonneville Education Foundation and for supporting the work we are doing for students and educators across our district. We are so excited about the momentum we are building and cannot wait to continue growing and serving our schools next year!

We hope all of our amazing students, staff, and families have a wonderful, restful, and well-deserved summer break! ☀️🍉📚

See you next school year! 💙

The Bonneville Education Foundation is so incredibly grateful for the amazing partnership with the Cloverdale PTO, staff, and families!

We were honored to receive a donation from Cloverdale Elementary to help bring FAST Buckets into their classrooms for next school year. These buckets are designed to help provide additional emergency and safety supplies for classrooms and are one more way we can work together to help support students and staff.

What makes this so special is seeing a school community come together to support something bigger than themselves. Cloverdale consistently shows up for their students, their teachers, and their community, and we are so grateful to partner alongside people who care so deeply about creating safe, supported learning environments for kids.

Thank you, Cloverdale PTO and families, for believing in this project and for helping make a difference for your school community. We appreciate you so much!

Last week, the Bonneville Education Foundation had the incredible opportunity to take Cloverdale Elementary’s 4th grade classes on our Day at the Dunes field trip and this week we received some of the sweetest thank you notes from their students.

To say these notes touched our hearts would be an understatement. Hearing how many students had never been to the dunes before and seeing how much joy and excitement this experience brought them reminded us exactly why opportunities like this matter so much.

We also just want to take a moment to recognize the amazing staff and students at Cloverdale Elementary. Truly, we were so impressed all day long. Their students were kind, respectful, patient, inclusive, and so appreciative. You can tell they are being led by incredible teachers and staff who care deeply about kids.

Thank you, Cloverdale, for welcoming us so warmly and for allowing us to be a small part of such a fun day and such special memories for your students. We absolutely loved every minute of it!

We are also so grateful to our Transportation Department, Child Nutrition, teachers, staff, and everyone who helped make this field trip possible! This was our very first Day at the Dunes trip and because of all of you, it was truly unforgettable. 💙
