The SFPE Snake River Valley Chapter was proud to partner with Bonneville County Fire District #1 (BCFD) for their Fire Prevention Week Open House!

🏆 Celebrating Excellence at SFPE Snake River Valley! 🏆

We are proud to announce that the SFPE Snake River Valley (SRV) Chapter has been recognized with the 2026 SFPE Award for Chapter Excellence – Silver Level! 🥈

This recognition is a reflection of the dedication, involvement, and accomplishments of our chapter and its members throughout the year. It celebrates our continued commitment to professional development, member engagement, leadership, and advancing the fire protection engineering profession.

Three SRV Chapter members Michael Cates, Taryn Couchman-Cates, and Spence Carter had the honor of representing our chapter at the 2026 SFPE Conference in Atlanta and accepting the award on behalf of the entire chapter.

👏 Congratulations to all of our SFPE SRV members! This achievement is a testament to what we can accomplish when we work together to build a stronger chapter and a stronger profession.

The SFPE Snake River Valley Chapter and Bonneville County Fire District #1 were proud to partner in hosting the Junior Firefighter Challenge at Ammon Days.
Thank you to everyone who participated and to the volunteers who helped make the event a success. It was a great opportunity to engage with our community, promote fire safety, and inspire the next generation of fire service and fire protection professionals.

🌟 ​We are thrilled to announce that the SFPE Snake River Valley Chapter has been selected to recieve the 2026 Silver Award for Chapter Excellence (ACE)! This prestigious award recognizes our chapter's outstanding performance in membership growth, educational programming, and commitment to the fire protection engineering profession over the past year.

They promoted careers in fire protection engineering and intrigued the minds of approximately 250 high school and middle school students. 🔥
