How do Idaho Gives donations support Friends of Minidoka?

Our mission is to preserve, protect, and educate about the lessons and legacy of the unconstitutional incarceration of Japanese Americans at Minidoka during WWII. To connect educators with key resources that teach the full and complex story of incarceration, Friends of Minidoka hosts teacher training events. These sessions are enriching and collaborative experiences, during which educators experience the Minidoka National Historic Site firsthand and meet National Park Service staff.

If you give $200, your donation will fund registration fees for a teacher attending a Friends of Minidoka teacher training session.

We hope you’ll consider giving to help us support educators in their critical work. Click the Idaho Gives link to donate!
