Primary Election Day is May 19th. Are you registered? We know May gets crazy busy, but make a plan and make time to vote.

With fewer than a quarter of voters showing up for a primary, each vote has an outsized impact on the results. Those primary voters are essentially choosing elected officials for everyone.

Senate Bill 1356 restructures leadership positions with Ada County Highway District by mandating that commissioners be elected through a partisan process in a countywide vote rather than elected by the residents of their specific geographical district as non-partisan candidates. Assessing project urgency in maintaining our roads and managing traffic are functional, technical tasks that should remain free from divisiveness of partisan politics.
