We have dates for the 2027 Spring Show. Mark your calendars. We have gone back to the Wed- Friday format.
February 24th, 2027 — hogs
February 25th, 2027–cattle
February 26th, 2027–sheep and goats
February 27th, 2027- premium sale

Don’t forget to voice your opinion !
Our Rule Change meeting will be held in April but the proposed rule changes are due in writing to me by email at [email protected] by March 16!
Let me know if you send one so I make sure to print it out.

Now that the spring show is over we are already planning for next year! We would like your input on how we can improve the show. Our rule change meeting is in April so we are now accepting rule changes that you would like to see. These proposed rules changes must be sent to me by email at [email protected]. The deadline for these will be March 16!!!
The submissions will then be presented and voted on at the April meeting.

Please come out and join us for a delicious dinner prepared by Sammie Joes in Wright City.
Dinner starts at 5:30 pm at the fairgrounds and we will be serving brisket and pulled pork with sides and drink for $20.00.

The animal shows have come to a close and now it’s time for the kids to showcase their winnings.
Please join us Saturday evening at the fairgrounds for the dinner and premium sale. The meal starts at 5:30 with awards and auction to follow. Hope to see everyone there !

Please join us at 10 am today for the fitting contest ! This is something new that we have added this year. We will have teams of cattle and goats competing at the same time. Come on out and see how it works!

Attention cattle exhibitors!

Tomorrow is the cattle show! Cards are due by 10 AM and the show will start at noon
Please be sure to weigh your animal at the scales with Mr. Don Allen Parsons or if you are showing registered cattle be sure to also bring your animal and a copy of your papers to give to Mr. Parsons at the scales.

The spring show is quickly approaching!
We will kick off the shows with the cattle on Feb 25th, hogs Feb 26, and sheep/goats Feb 27th.
Cards are due at 10 am each day and show starts at 12pm.
* hog exhibitors must turn in pseudo papers (ag teacher most likely has this ). If you’re showing a breeding gilt you must turn in registration papers ( excluding commercial gilts)
**cattle exhibitors must turn in a copy of registration papers to Mr. Don Allen Parsons for your animal if you are showing as registered.
