🚑 Congratulations to Our Newest EMT! 🚑

It has been awhile since we posted about a new EMT. We are proud to announce that Crysta Hupke has successfully passed her National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) exam and is now a certified EMT!

This is not an easy task and takes a lot of hard work and time. We appreciate her willingness to join our service and wanting to serve her community! THANK YOU for taking the time to reach this goal! We are so proud of you!!

During EMS Week, we would like to extend a sincere thank you to the dedicated volunteers who continue to serve our community day and night. With nearly 400 calls each year, our service is built by local people caring for local people — familiar faces always willing to answer the call at any hour. For more than 50 years, this organization has remained strong because of the commitment and compassion of our crew, many of whom have devoted over a decade of service to helping others. We are incredibly grateful for each member who sacrifices time with family, sleep, holidays, and weekends to keep this community protected. As we celebrate EMS Week, we also encourage others to consider volunteering, especially during evenings and weekends, to help continue this proud tradition for generations to come. Thank you to our amazing crew for being professional, dependable, down-to-earth, and for reminding everyone that while we take our job seriously, we are also a fun family who enjoys serving together.

We couldn't be more excited to be in the new building, along with county EMS! It is amazing! Thank you VT Industries for the donation of the counters and for Ladwig Construction for building our work space!

Every now and then a call comes in where our guidelines state we can bypass local hospitals. We have Ida County EMS to support us on board with patient care during these calls. We appreciate the support for our crews, when an advance level provider is not available. This makes better outcomes for patients and very helpful for our volunteers!! Thank you Ida County EMS!
