We couldn't be more excited to be in the new building, along with county EMS! It is amazing! Thank you VT Industries for the donation of the counters and for Ladwig Construction for building our work space!

Every now and then a call comes in where our guidelines state we can bypass local hospitals. We have Ida County EMS to support us on board with patient care during these calls. We appreciate the support for our crews, when an advance level provider is not available. This makes better outcomes for patients and very helpful for our volunteers!! Thank you Ida County EMS!

🚨There is a county wide mass casualty DRILL currently happening at OABCIG high school. You will see emergency response vehicles from multiple towns in the area. 🚑🚒

Congratulations to Caroline Homan on completing the Critical Care Paramedic course! This course trains Paramedics on ventilator management, chest tubes, central venus access devices, advanced 12 lead ECG interpretation, hemodynamic monitoring, pharmacologic formulary, just to name a few.

Ida Grove Ambulance has the only 2 CCPs in the county. We also have 2 EMT's currently seeking their AEMT's certificate.
Great job to the volunteers advancing their education.
There will be a free EMT course offered soon and our 6-7 active members sure could use some help covering during the months.

Again great job Caroline!!!!!!
