🍀Shoutout to our Senior Jersey🍀
Thank you for all your hard work and dedication throughout the years! You have shown true leadership through your years in 4H and we are so proud of you!

Congratulations to our Senior Spotlight, Jersey Bral!

Jersey is the daughter of Candice Bral and a graduate of OABCIG High School from Kiron. She has been a proud member of the Blaine Clovers 4-H Club for 9 years.

During her time in 4-H, Jersey especially enjoyed exhibit hall projects and showing rabbits. She also served her club in a leadership role as Secretary. One of her favorite 4-H memories was attending Ignite the Spirit.

Jersey shared that 4-H has taught her responsibility and the importance of volunteering to help make her community a better place. The experiences and skills she gained through 4-H have helped prepare her for the future.

This fall, Jersey plans to attend Des Moines Area Community College in Ankeny to pursue Dental Hygiene.

Congratulations, Jersey! We wish you all the best in this exciting next chapter.

The long hours, the dedication, the money, and the creativity that goes into it all.
The kids love to see the support in the stands and to see the people walk through the exhibits they create!

We fill the bleachers on Friday nights for football. We fill the bleachers on cold winter nights for basketball. We travel miles and miles, to sit in the bleachers for volleyball, baseball, softball, wrestling, and dance.

Our 4-H and FFA families would like to invite you to fill the bleachers on a warm summer day during county fair week and watch the kids who practice with a 1300 pound steer that doesn’t always want to walk, a 140 pound lamb that doesn’t want to get on the stand for the 100th time, a 280 pound hog that just wants to stay in the cool barn, a stubborn goat that doesn’t like the chain, or any other number of issues that can happen when you own livestock.

Come check out the Exhibit Building for all the non-livestock exhibitors. Those kids have heart and dedication and put hours into their creations. Come and learn from these future leaders while listening to their communication projects.

Let’s fill the bleachers, barns, and buildings to show these kids that their hard work doesn’t go unnoticed and because of them, the future of the agriculture and leadership is in good hands.

✨Out with the old and in with new✨
The Blaine Clovers have been hard at work the past couple weeks!! It was time for a much needed and updated fair sign and the kiddos wanted the challenge!

Their new improvement project is coming together and their hard work is paying off!!

On December 28, 2024, some more of the Blaine Clovers got together and cooked 22 individual meals and delivered them to the elders in four surrounding communities! It was another great way to give back during the holiday season!
