The Hyrum City Youth Council spent the day at the Utah State Capitol! 🏛️The youth toured the Capitol, met with Representative Casey Snider, and watched the legislative session in action. It was a great opportunity to see government at work and learn about bills that could impact their lives — all while having a fun day together! 👏

Don’t miss out on meeting all of the Hyrum City Mayoral and Council candidates at the HCYC sponsored Meet the Candidates Night this Wednesday. Hyrum Civic Center at 7-8:30 pm. First hour is a formal question and answer from questions previously submitted by the public, and the last half hour is an open house for you to meet and greet the candidates.

Hyrum City Youth Council will be hosting a “Meet the Candidates Night” on Oct 22nd at 7 pm at the Civic Center. All are welcome. It will be broadcast over the local Hyrum radio station, KVWJ 94.9. Please scan the QR code if you’d like to submit a question. We will combine questions, and randomly draw from all questions to be answered.
