Good news! We have extended the 4-H Camp registration deadline through the end of this week to give parents and guardians a little extra time to get camp forms completed and turned in.

If your child is planning to attend camp and you haven’t submitted their paperwork yet, please make sure all forms are returned by the end of the week.

We don’t want anyone to miss out on this amazing opportunity for fun, friends, adventure, and unforgettable memories!

Last week, 12 outstanding members of the Leslie County 4-H Teen Council attended 4-H Teen Conference on the University of Kentucky’s campus! It was an unforgettable week filled with leadership development, hands-on learning, service, new experiences, and friendships that will last a lifetime.

For some of our teens, this was their very first Teen Conference. No matter where they were in their 4-H journey, each represented Leslie County with pride, enthusiasm, and outstanding character. We are incredibly proud of the way they stepped outside their comfort zones, embraced new opportunities, and served as positive ambassadors for our county.

While we were fortunate to have 12 amazing teens attend, we definitely missed our four senior 4-H members who were unable to join us because Teen Conference fell during their senior trip. Their presence was certainly missed, and we know they would have added even more fun to an already incredible week.

Congratulations to all of our Leslie County 4-H teens on a fantastic conference. We can’t wait to see how they use the skills, experiences, and friendships gained to continue making a difference in their school, communities, and beyond! 💚🍀
