Also known as an umbrella. Additional Limits of liability sold as a vehicle to provide asset protection. Meet with your local agency to understand what is covered. What exposures are included? Rentals, boats? Some excess polices cover over commercial forms and most do not. Do commercially owned vehicles count? Now, to make it even more confusing and complicated, you can purchase uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage on many excess policies. Coverage so important can not be left to online machines and call centers.
