We are still feeling blissed out, inspired, and convicted by the 2025 Arts & Justice Festival!

Our 3rd annual festival was attended by over 200 community members and challenged us to consider what justice looks like in our natural environment, in our relationships to race and ethnicity, and in our genders and sexuality. Through film, dialogue, visual art, music, dance, and even roller skating, we took up space for bold ideas and envisioned new futures.

We are grateful to the Barr Foundation’s Catalyzing Vitality program for allowing us to make the festival free to the public. We are also grateful for our partnerships with , , .boston, , , , Melissa Ferretti and our amazing panelists. You made the festival dynamic and artful.

🌍✨ Perreo Para El Planeta ✨🌍

Join us for an evening dedicated to climate and environmental justice—centering the voices of those most impacted by the climate crisis, both globally and right here on Cape Cod.

📅 Friday, October 3, 2025
🕕 6–9 PM
📍 438 Main Street, Hyannis, MA 02601

This community conversation, led by Tara Vargas Wallace (Amplify POC), will highlight the intersection of culture, justice, and resilience. We are honored to welcome Melissa Ferretti, Chairwoman of the Herring Pond Wampanoag Tribe, as our keynote speaker. Chairwoman Ferretti is a powerful advocate for Indigenous sovereignty and environmental protection, reminding us that the Wampanoag story is the environmental justice story of Cape Cod.

💬 Following the keynote, a panel will connect global struggles for climate justice with local action.

🎶 The evening culminates in a Latin dance party—Perreo Para El Planeta! Enjoy music by DJ AC, free food from local Latin American restaurants, and a celebration of history, culture, and community.

🎉 FREE • OPEN TO ALL.
Let’s come together for justice, joy, and resistance.
