We have an exciting update for our neighbors!

To better serve our neighbors, we have expanded our service area. While we're still proud to serve Huxley and Kelley, we now welcome individuals and families from the surrounding communities as well.

If you or someone you know could use a little extra help with groceries, we're here for you. No one should have to choose between paying bills and putting food on the table.

Huxley Area Food Pantry
Open Thursdays: 10:00–11:00 AM & 6:00–7:00 PM

Please help us spread the word by sharing this post. You never know who may need to hear that help is available.

Together, we can care for our neighbors and strengthen our communities.

We’re incredibly grateful for the generosity of our community and the Boy Scouts, who together donated nearly 1,000 food items! Because of this support, our shelves are well stocked, and we’re able to continue providing food and care for our neighbors.

If you are in need of food assistance, please stop by on Thursdays when we are open. We are here for you.

There are no income requirements to receive food. With grocery costs rising, we know many are feeling the strain. You are not alone, and we are here to help.

If help with food would be helpful to you and your people, you are welcome here and will receive help.

We are thankful for the many volunteers and groups that help us be able to feed our community. A special thank you to Girl Scout Troop 758 visited the food pantry recently. This is a 4th grade troop from Ballard.

Merle taught the girls all about the food pantry - what a food pantry is, where the food comes from, who can use the pantry, how much food does a family get, how many families use the pantry, and so forth. He gave them a tour and a list of needed items.

At Fareway the girls worked with their groups to keep track of their budget, find all their items and more, order ground beef from the meat counter, and use the cashier and self check lanes.

Back at the food pantry they helped Merle put their items away. The girls then made holiday cards for the families coming this week.

Thank you, Girl Scout Troop 758!

The South Story Bank & Trust Charitable Foundation has awarded one of its four generous donations in the amount of $2,500 to the Huxley Food Pantry. This gift will go directly toward our mission of fighting food insecurity and ensuring that families in our community have access to the nourishment they need.

Food insecurity touches more lives than many realize, and with support like this, we can continue to provide hope, dignity, and care to those who need it most.

We believe in the power of community and for standing alongside us in this important work. Together, we are making a difference--one meal, one family, one act of kindness at a time.

Each week, more neighbors are walking through our doors looking for help and hope. This week, we served 76 people, including 2 more new families; nearly twice our usual number!

We are thankful we can help meet needs in our community, but need your help.
