Grateful Judge Steve Snell for taking the time to talk Williamson County, Texas - Government with our club. He discussed business and population growth, emergency response, and the never-ending need for new roads and road improvement.

He also discussed job growth and education, especially with our technical colleges, and the need to focus on water and electricity stability.

Today we welcomed Claudia Cardwell as our guest speaker, who gave us some great info and background on the Hutto Education Foundation (HEF), which was founded in 2006.

HEF provides scholarships to graduating Hutto ISD students. They also give grants to teachers and students each year, all totaling over $1.3 Million in 2025.

Another wonderful blessing of their organization is that they provide a free service of managing scholarship funds for area non-profits, including the three scholarships awarded by Hutto Rotary Club each year.
