We’re so sad to say goodbye to this school year, but love any opportunity to treat our wonderful HES community. The PTA handed out end of year gifts to every staff member this week as a token of appreciation for all their hard work!

🎉 Happy Speech-Language Pathologist Day! 🗣️✨

Today we’re shining a big spotlight on two incredible members of our Hutto Elementary family, Ms. Zepeda and Ms. Vasquez! 💛

Every single day, these amazing women work to help our kids find their voices, build confidence, and communicate with the world around them. Their patience, dedication, and heart make a difference that lasts a lifetime.

Ms. Zepeda & Ms. Vasquez, our Hutto Hippo community is so grateful for YOU! Thank you for everything you do. 🦛🧡

What a year, Hippo Nation! 🧡🦛

From 719 students served to $28,682 raised for our school community, this year was one for the books. We filled bellies at spirit nights, hosted unforgettable events, cheered kids on at the Hungry Hippo Dash, and made meaningful connections with families at Hipporama, Fall Festival, Donuts with Grandparents, and more. None of it would have been possible without our 100+ incredible PTA members and every family who showed up for our kids!

Here’s to a year of big hippo energy, and an even better 2026–2027. Cheers 🎉

We’re inviting you to join us for a brief virtual PTA meeting on Monday, May 11th from 6:00–6:15 PM via Google Meet to approve the proposed 2026–2027 PTA budget.

Approving the budget now allows our PTA Board to legally spend funds over the summer as we prepare to kick off another amazing school year for our students, staff, and families.

We NEED your help to approve this budget with a vote, so we’d love to have you join us. It’ll just take a few minutes, from the comfort of your own home 😉

We are so thankful and excited for all the generous donations we’ve received so far!

After taking inventory today, we are hoping for your help one last time to fill a few remaining needs:

•Soft items: blankets, large Squishmallows Sports equipment: soccer balls, volleyballs

••Gift cards ($5–$10): Chick-fil-A, Starbucks

•Beauty/self-care items: nail polish, face masks, skincare headbands

•Electronics & gaming: speakers, keyboards, computer mice

•Food & drinks: Takis, chips (all flavors), sodas, and fun drinks

•Summer Fun: Beach Towels, floats, bags, pool toys, googles etc.

Any support is greatly appreciated and will help make this extra special for our students. Please have all donations in by May 19.
