Hutchinson Toastmasters II President, Joy Schmitz, congratulates two Division D Speech Contest 1st Place Winners - Corey Roskamp in Tale Tales and Raymond Norton in International. Joy won the Division D online Humorous contest last Fall and all three will compete in the District 6 Speech Contest on Saturday, April 25th.

Will Mr Urdahl talk about the books he's authored? Or the leadership necessary lead a team of people? Or the communication skills needed to persuade people to action? Or Minnesota's cultural and political history? Come and find out! The meeting starts promptly at 7:00am and lasts an hour - and it's FREE to attend!

Raymond and Corey put their communication skills on display at the Area 33 Speech Contest on March 21, 2026. They will both be moving on the Division D Speech Contest on Thursday, April 9th.

Hutchinson Toastmasters II held their Spring speech contest on Thursday, February 26, 2026, during the normal club meeting time of 7:00-8:00AM. Two contestants participated in the 3-5 minute Tall Tales speech contest on any exaggerated topic of the speakers choosing. Corey Roskamp took first place and Bob Lea took second place. Contest master Alex is shown presenting the winners. Corey for Tall Tales and Raymond Norton for the 5-7 minute International Speech will move on the the Area Contest 33 on March 21st.
