🌿 SOMETIMES, WE ALL NEED SOMEWHERE TO LAND. ❤️

Life has a way of bringing us through seasons we never imagined we’d have to walk through.

Some of us are carrying grief. Some are trying to rebuild what has been broken. Some are walking through recovery, struggling in relationships, wrestling with their faith, or simply doing their best to make it through another day.

And sometimes, the hardest part isn’t even what we’re carrying. It’s feeling like we have to carry it alone.

We believe there’s something beautiful about making room for one another in the middle of life’s messiness.

Not because we have all the answers or know how to fix everything, but because sometimes love looks like pulling up a chair, sharing a cup of coffee, listening without judgment, and reminding someone that they matter.

Jesus showed us that kind of love. He met people right where they were, saw beyond their circumstances, and never lost sight of the heart behind the hurt.

And isn’t that something we could all use a little more of?

A little more grace.
A little more understanding.
A little less judgment.
And a little more willingness to walk beside one another.

Because healing doesn’t always begin with some great breakthrough. Sometimes it begins quietly, through a conversation, a listening ear, a whispered prayer, or the simple realization that someone genuinely cares.

That’s part of the heart behind The Coffee Corner.

We want to be a place where faith is more than something we talk about. Where it becomes something we live out through kindness, compassion, encouragement, and the way we love our neighbors.

A place where people don’t have to pretend they have everything figured out before they feel welcome.

We know a cup of coffee can’t take away someone’s pain, and a conversation can’t fix every hardship. But we also believe God can use the simplest moments of connection to remind someone that they haven’t been forgotten.

And perhaps that’s where something beautiful begins. Not with having all the right words, but with having a willing heart and making room for someone else.

So wherever life finds you today, whether you’re celebrating a new beginning or quietly finding the strength to keep going, we hope you’ll remember:

Your story matters. Your presence matters. And there’s always room for you at the table. ❤️

🌻 One cup of coffee. One conversation. One act of kindness at a time.

There’s a place for you here. 🤍☕️

Maybe you’re walking through recovery.
Maybe you love someone who is.
Maybe life has simply been heavy lately, and you’re looking for a place where you can sit down, have a cup of coffee, and be around people who understand that none of us have it all together.

That’s the heart behind Life Recovery Hutchinson at The Coffee Corner.

This isn’t about perfect people with perfect stories.

It’s about real people, real struggles, real faith, and real community.

It’s a place where you can come as you are. Where Scripture is opened. Where conversations happen. Where people encourage one another. Where recovery is walked out together. And most importantly, where Jesus remains at the center of it all.

Some come for Life Recovery.
Some come for Women’s Bible Study.
Some come for coffee and conversation.

And sometimes, simply walking through the door and realizing you don’t have to walk through life alone is a pretty big first step. ❤️

Life Recovery meetings happen throughout the week, and our Women’s Bible Study meets Wednesdays at 2:00 PM. The full schedule is included in the Reel.

And if you’ve driven by lately… you may notice a few things beginning to change. 👀

New signs are coming soon.
But the heart of this place remains the same:

Recovery. Encouragement. Connection. Faith. Hope.

Exterior updates are coming soon to The Coffee Corner. 🤍

This little place has already become so much more than four walls and a door.

It has become a place where people gather around tables, share pieces of their stories, pray together, walk through recovery, open their Bibles, drink coffee, laugh, cry, and remind one another that no one has to carry life alone.

And now, little by little, the outside is beginning to reflect some of what has been growing on the inside.

We’re excited for the new signs and exterior updates coming soon, but even more than that, we’re grateful for every person who has already walked through these doors and helped make this place what it is becoming.

Maybe you’ve been curious about The Coffee Corner.
Maybe you’ve driven by and wondered what happens inside.
Maybe you’ve thought about coming but haven’t quite made it through the door yet.

We hope the new signs make it a little easier to find us — but more than anything, we hope you know this:

There is room for you here. 🤍

Have you ever been to The Coffee Corner before? We’d love to hear what this place has meant to you. ☕️

THE TABLE IS PREPARED. 🤍

There’s something beautiful about a room before everyone arrives.

The chairs are pulled up.
The coffee is ready.

And a place has already been made for someone who hasn’t even walked through the door yet.

That’s one of the things we love about the Coffee Corner.

So much of ministry happens in quiet, ordinary ways.

Someone opens the door.
Someone makes the coffee.
Someone pulls out a chair.
Someone listens without rushing.
Someone prays.
Someone simply makes room.

Because we never really know what another person may be carrying when they walk through the door.

Maybe they’re tired.

Maybe they’re rebuilding.

Maybe they’re walking through addiction, grief, loss, hurt, recovery, or a season of life they never expected to face.

Or maybe they simply need somewhere to sit for a while and be reminded:

You don’t have to walk through this alone.

We may not know exactly who will come through these doors on any given day, but we can prepare as though someone who matters is coming.

Because they are. 🤍

There is a place for your story here.
A place for your questions.
A place to be heard.
A place where healing and hope can begin one small step at a time.

The table is prepared.
There’s a place for you here. ☕🌿

COME IN. HAVE SOME COFFEE. ☕🤍

Yesterday was one of those beautiful reminders of what can happen when people simply make room for one another.

Women gathered around the table with open Bibles, flowers, coffee, something sweet, conversation, prayer, and real life being shared in between.

And throughout the day, others walked through these same doors for Life Recovery meetings—each person carrying a story of their own.

Some seasons of life leave us needing more than answers.

Sometimes we need a place to land.

A chair.
A cup of coffee.
Someone willing to listen.
A room where we don’t have to pretend everything is okay before we’re allowed to belong.

That is part of what we hope the Coffee Corner continues to be.

And today, the doors are open again. 🤍

Thursday Life Recovery meetings:
☕ 2:30–3:30 PM
☕ 6:30–7:30 PM

You don’t have to have everything figured out before you come.

You don’t need the perfect words.

Just come as you are.

There may be coffee waiting, but even more importantly, there are people here who understand that healing, recovery, faith, and hope often grow slowly—one conversation, one meeting, one ordinary day at a time.

There’s a place for you here.

THERE’S A PLACE FOR YOU AT THE TABLE. 🤍☕📖

Wednesday afternoons at the Coffee Corner are becoming one of those simple, sweet places where women can come together just as they are.

No perfect Bible knowledge required.
No polished answers.
No need to have life all figured out before you walk through the door.

We’re currently making our way through the book of Psalms—reading God’s Word together, talking honestly about what it means for our lives, sharing what’s on our hearts, and making room for prayer, encouragement, questions, laughter, and sometimes even tears.

Because the Psalms remind us that we can bring all of ourselves before God—the praise and the pain, the gratitude and the grief, the questions and the hope.

And we usually have a little something sweet waiting too. 🤍 Most weeks there’s a treat to share, along with coffee or lemonade, depending on the day.

Nothing fancy.

Just women gathering around a table, opening the Bible, sharing life, and reminding one another that we were never meant to walk through everything alone.

If you’ve been thinking about coming but you don’t know anyone yet, that’s okay.

Come anyway.

There’s a chair for you.
There’s a Bible you can open.
There’s room for your story.
And there’s a place for you at this table.

THERE’S A CHAIR FOR YOU HERE. ☕🤍

Have you ever thought about coming… and then hesitated before walking through the door?

Maybe you don’t know anyone yet.

Maybe you’ve seen the Life Recovery meeting schedule and wondered if you would fit in.

Maybe life has simply been hard, and you’re carrying grief, addiction, trauma, loss, broken relationships, disappointment, questions—or something you don’t quite have words for yet.

You don’t have to have it all together to belong here.

You don’t need a polished story.

And you don’t have to explain everything the moment you arrive.

At the Coffee Corner, sometimes welcome looks very simple:

A chair pulled out.
Coffee brewing.
A listening ear.
A prayer.
A conversation.
A room full of people who understand that life can be beautiful and painful at the same time.

The Coffee Corner is home to Life Recovery meetings throughout the week, along with Bible study, fellowship, and opportunities for connection and encouragement.

But before any meeting begins, there is something even simpler waiting here:

Room for you.

Because every story matters.

And sometimes one of the first steps toward hope is realizing you were never meant to carry everything alone.

So if you’ve been standing on the other side of the door wondering whether you would be welcome—

you are.

Come in.
Take a seat.
Take a breath.

☕🤍 There’s a chair for you here.

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN ☕🤍

Sometimes something beautiful begins because one person simply notices.

Notices the person others may walk past.
Notices the hurt behind the smile.
Notices someone who is cold, lonely, struggling, grieving—or simply needs somewhere safe to sit for a while.

That is part of how the story of The Coffee Corner began.

In 2019, a young woman saw people in our community experiencing homelessness out in the cold and wished there were somewhere they could come inside.

Somewhere warm.

Somewhere they could have a cup of coffee and a donut, sit down for a while, and know that somebody saw them and somebody cared.

It began with one simple question:

What if we made room?

Together, that young woman and her mom helped turn compassion into what became the Coffee Corner.

And over the years, what began as a place offering warmth, coffee, food, friendship, and connection has quietly grown into something even deeper.

Today, the Coffee Corner has become a gathering place and a hub for Life Recovery meetings throughout the week—a place where people recovering from addiction, trauma, loss, grief, broken relationships, painful histories, disappointment, and some of life’s deepest hurts can walk through the door and find people willing to walk beside them.

Because recovery does not belong to just one kind of story.

Sometimes recovery is laying something down that has held you captive.

Sometimes it is learning how to live after something you loved has been lost.

Sometimes it is facing the places that still hurt.

Sometimes it is learning to trust again.

Sometimes it is discovering that healing and grief can exist in the same heart.

And sometimes recovery simply looks like finding enough hope to take one more step.

That is why places like this matter.

No one has to walk through the door with everything figured out.

You do not have to hide the broken places.

You do not have to pretend the pain never happened.

You can come carrying the questions, the mistakes, the grief, the trauma, the thorns, and the pieces of your story that are still being tended.

And somewhere between a cup of coffee, a chair pulled out, a prayer, a conversation, a meeting, and someone willing to listen, a person can begin to remember:

You are seen.
You are loved.
You are not alone.
And your story is still being written.

The Coffee Corner has changed and grown since 2019.

Today there are Life Recovery meetings, Bible study, prayer, accountability, encouragement, friendship, faith, and people learning together what it means to keep moving forward.

But beneath all of it, the heart is still remarkably close to where it began:

See the person.
Make room.
Offer warmth.
Sit beside the hurting.
Remind them they do not have to carry everything alone.

Maybe that is how some of the most meaningful ministry begins.

Not with something grand.

But with someone noticing.

A door opened.

Coffee poured.

A chair waiting.

A heart willing to listen.

And the quiet reminder:

There is room for you here.

Because even in the chapters marked by loss, pain, trauma, addiction, or disappointment, God is still at work.

Healing may come slowly.
Recovery may happen one step at a time.
The story may look different than we imagined.

But there is still connection to be found.
There is still faith to hold onto.
There is still hope for what comes next.

And there is still beauty being written into the story. 🤍
