We've Had a Busy Week in Pack 303!

On Sunday, our Scouts spent time giving back to our community by helping with the St. Teresa's Parish Picnic! The Scouts helped carry trays, clear tables, and pitch in wherever help was needed.

I am very proud of our Scouts for stepping up, lending a helping hand, and putting the Scout spirit into action! Service projects like this are a wonderful way to teach our Scouts the importance of helping others and being part of their community.

Great job, Scouts! You represented Scouting well! 💙 💛

Pack 303 Visits the Hutchinson Fire Training Center! 🚒

On Thursday, our Scouts had an exciting opportunity to visit the Hutchinson Fire Training Center! The Scouts learned about the many different ways firefighters train and prepare throughout the year to keep our community safe.

We got to tour the training facilities, check out a firetruck and a brush truck, and even had the opportunity to shoot water from a fire hose and the brush truck!
What an exciting hands-on experience for our Scouts!

A huge THANK YOU to the crew from Hutchinson Fire Department Station 4 for taking the time to show us around, share your knowledge, and give our Scouts a glimpse into the important work you do every day.

We appreciate everything you do to protect our community!

A BIG THANK YOU TO OUR FRIENDS AT NEED A GEEK, LLC!

Our friends at Need A Geek went above and beyond to help Pack 303 get our Pinewood Derby track back in the fast lane!

Conrad, Sara, Naomi, and the entire team took time out of their busy schedules to go over our track system and help us discover that, after more than 20 years of racing, our laptop and wiring were showing their age.

Not only did they help us figure out what needed to be replaced to bring our system up to date, but they were also gracious enough to donate a laptop capable of running our Pinewood Derby software!

We are incredibly grateful for their generosity, knowledge, and willingness to support our Scouts. Community partners like these make a real difference, and we couldn't be more thankful for their help.

A few of our Scouts went to the Quivira Council Cub Scout Day of Awesomeness. Looks like they had a blast.

The Pack had an incredible day fishing down at Carey Park!

The Scouts did an amazing job and everyone walked away earning their fishing adventure loops and pins.

We want to give a huge thank you to our phenomenal team of Den Leaders, including Kyle and Laurie Campbell, Bill and Sarah Robbins, and Deanna Knight. Thank you all for your help, guidance, and making today so special for the kids.

The kids had an absolute blast making memories together. Thanks to everyone who made this day such a great success!

Our first Pack Meeting of the year was a great success!

We had a great time meeting some new Scouts and families and getting to see some old friends again.
It was great watching the Scouts have fun and get back into Cub Scouts!

We handed out our Summer Camp belt loops and pins and also worked on Liberty in Action: 250th Anniversary Challenge.
