❤️ A Message from Mid-Cities Arts Collective ❤️
After two incredible years, the Mid-Cities Arts Collective Board has made the difficult decision to close MAC.
Together, we produced 5 shows, 2 camps, and 3 cabarets, giving performers 31 opportunities to take the stage and welcoming 657 audience members who purchased more than 1,600 tickets. More importantly, we created memories, discovered new performers, and built a wonderful creative community.
This summer, our Board spent considerable time reflecting and planning for MAC’s future. After much thought and honest conversation, we came to the conclusion that the organization does not have the capacity to sustain MAC for the long term. While this is difficult, we believe it is the right decision for MAC and our creative community.
We are deeply grateful to every performer, volunteer, audience member, donor, family, and supporter who made these two years so special.
As we close MAC, our remaining resources will be directed toward scholarships for local families, helping their children participate in classes and productions with other area theaters.
Thank you for believing in MAC and being part of our journey. ❤️
