WV DNR has scheduled a public meeting of the State Parks Endowment Fund Board for October 20 at 1:00 PM.

Important: During this meeting, the Board is scheduled to vote on endowment-funded projects recommended by the Governor during his recent press event.

This is an important meeting for the future of West Virginia State Parks, and I encourage everyone interested in these projects to tune in.

Upcoming projects announced by Governor Morrisey on September 30, 2026

$3 million - New 34 site campground at Little Beaver State Park.
$1 million - Snow making at Canaan Valley State Park.
$3 million - Wastewater treatment repairs at Chief Logan State Park.
$3 million - Wastewater treatment and other upgrades at Cacapon State Park.
$2 million - General wastewater repairs throughout the state park system.
$4 million - Paving and improving campsites, parking lots and walkways throughout the system.
$150K - Cabin and roof repairs at Cass and Pipestem.
$300K - Replace barge transport at Blennerhasset Island.
$1 million - Replace and upgrade gift shop and restrooms at Hawks Nest state park lower tram area.
