This year, we decided to do something a little different with Vacation Bible School! Instead of our traditional summer VBS, we’re hosting a special one-day VBS Fun Day after school has started back.

We know summer schedules can be busy with vacations, sports, and family activities, so we thought this would be a great opportunity to bring everyone together for a fun-filled day centered on the Gospel.

Our theme this year is The Gospel in Color, and we’re looking forward to sharing God’s love through teaching, scripture memorization, games, crafts, music, and lots of fun!

Earlier this year, as I began to pray about this retreat, while reading through my verses for the year from Ecclesiastes 3 the Lord reminded me of a song my friend, Mrs. Faith York , posted a few years ago.

As I listened to the words again I couldn’t help but think how perfectly it fit my heart for the next At His Feet Ladies Retreat - “In The Hills” of Athens, TN.
•
“…God makes all things beautiful in His time
His thoughts and His ways are so much higher than mine
So I will just keep trusting in the goodness of His love.
Seasons change so I will wait on the beautiful to come.

For such a time as this - I often reminisce.
On the days filled with doubts and fears
When all my dreams just disappeared.
Though I didn’t understand God proved that He was able
He’s always had a plan, oh He’s always been faithful.

To everything there is a season & purpose for the pain
A time to plant, a time to weep, a time to cast away
So with each step I’ll trust His plan and thank Him for each day
Although seasons change, He always stays the same.”

I messaged Mrs. Faith and shared how the Lord was leading and she graciously agreed to come be a part of the retreat since it would less than 2 hours from her.

This retreat will be hosted by Mrs. Crystal MattandCrystal Herrell and Fairview Baptist Church in Athens, TN at the beautiful Camp Fairview.
•
To say I’m excited for this retreat would be an understatement as I have watched the Lord continue to put the pieces together the past few months. I have no doubt He has something special in store for us, and we invite you to join us At His Feet - “In The Hills” of East Tennessee.

Love this new missions wall at one of our supporting churches!! Such a blessing to see!! 🙌🏻💜🙏🏻

This year we've have done some updating around our buildings. This mission wall by far is my favorite!! Its not quite complete but looks great. The most exciting part is that when we did it a month or so ago we have already had the privilege to add 2 more missionaries to the wall already! Churches, I beg you, invest in missions not just a little but invest by faith and watch God work. I can stand and testify that every time we have taken on a missionary by faith God has blessed. If your church is struggling financially, spiritually or physically go ahead and take on a missionary and see what God does!

Such a GREAT Sunday!! It was such a blessing to give an update at Lenox BC outside of Dyersburg, TN yesterday. So thankful for our faithful supporting churches over the years!!

What a wonderful Sunday we had at Lenox Baptist Church!
We are so thankful for this great country and the many freedoms we are blessed to enjoy each and every day. What a privilege it is to worship the Lord freely!
Yesterday, we were also blessed to have our missionary, Allison McKay with Delight Thyself Design Ministries, with us. It was a joy to hear how God is using this ministry to distribute the printed Gospel across the United States and around the world. We are grateful for her faithfulness to God’s calling and ask that you join us in praying for this ministry as it continues to share the hope of Christ with people everywhere.

I have said many times that Bro. Don Sisk was a modern day version of the missionaries we read about from days gone by… but he was more than that. He invested and encouraged countless of other missionaries to simply point people to the importance of missions and spreading the Gospel… myself included.
•
I am grateful for his example and the encouragement he gave me every time I saw him at meetings. The last time he was at Southwide, he came to the DT table and simply said “Hello again tract lady… keep on cause one tract does make a difference.”
•
Five years ago I walked in Lakewood BC in Harrison, TN and there he sat on the front row. That morning he shared a funny story about sharing one of our “A Gift For You” tracts with a waitress. It was a moment I knew I would cherish, especially when today came.
•
Only Heaven will reveal the fruit and investment of this man and his family. What a life and example this precious man led for us all.

At His Feet By The Sea • 📖 🤍 🌊 • 2026
•
The Lord allowed us to organize a ladies retreat at Friendship Baptist Church in Myrtle Beach, SC in March. Of all the ladies meetings we’ve been able to do the last several years, I believe this one may have been my favorite one yet! It was evident that the Lord’s hand was on the meeting before it even started. It was a relaxing atmosphere where ladies could truly rest at His feet! We had ladies travel from several different states. Mrs. Natalie Blanton was our main speaker, and the ladies from the Raynes Family treated us to some wonderful music. Best of all, we found out a few days afterwards that a Ukrainan girl named Christina that attended the meeting and left under conviction, trusted Christ as her Saviour! Truly made everything worth it all!

This meeting, and every one that the Lord has allowed us to have, could not have been possible without the crew that joined together and brought the vision for At His Feet By The Sea to life! This year was extra special, as the Lord brought some of my closest friends & family together in the same place for them to finally meet and us all serve together! So thankful for each of their investment in the ministry!! We are already excited for the next one, and hope you can join us! More info on that and MORE in the next couple weeks! 😬💜
